Textbook Rental Program

How do I rent a book?

At the bookstore, a student must present their schedule and sign a rental agreement which states and understanding of the terms of the rental. The student may keep the book for the duration of the semester and return it within 5 days of the end of the semester that the rental was executed. Payment is due at the time the student takes the book out. Payment options include cash, credit card, check, and financial aid.

Can books be rented online?

No. As of now, books can only be rented in the bookstore.

If the class is dropped within two weeks of the start of the semester, you may return the book for a full refund with a copy of the agreement and the book in good condition.

Are there late fees?

Yes. A $10 late fee will be charged for every week that the book is past due.

What if I damage or lose my rental book?

If a book is damaged or lost, the renter will be required to pay the value of the book in full plus any late charges less the rental cost paid, as indicated in the rental agreement.  A hold will be put on the student's account until the balance is paid.
