THE BOOKSTORE WILL NOT ACCEPT RETURNS OR ISSUE REFUNDS WITHOUT SALES RECEIPT/PACKING SLIP!
A. Returns will only be accepted on or before the return date (2 weeks after the first day of classes each semester).
*Late start textbooks can be returned 3 days after the beginning of late start classes.
B. Textbook returns must be accompanied by a cash register receipt or packing slip, even if you are dropping and/or adding courses.
C. Refunds will be given in same tender as purchase payment. We cannot give cash back for credit card or check purchases. Check refunds will reflect as a credit to your NCC STUDENT ACCOUNT. Any refund creating a credit balance on your account will be generated and processed through HIGHER ONE according to your NCC Plus Card refund preference. This preference is selected upon completion of your initial login.
D. The textbook must be in NEW CONDITION AND UNMARKED in any manner. When returning the textbook, it should be presented to one of the bookstore associates. Shrink-wrapped texts are considered used if opened. No refund will be given for opened packages.
E. DEFECTIVE TEXTS may be exchanged for the same title. NO cash or charge refunds will be given for defective text.
F. INSTRUCTOR CHANGED TEXTBOOK(S): Students will be able to return textbook(s) previously purchased from NCC Bookstore and purchase the new textbook(s).

The original receipt/packing slip
Your name, address, and phone number
Reason for return (ex. dropped course, canceled course, etc.)
